Kaitaia Swamp Drainage Area.--Penalty on Overdue Rates.

Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 21st February, 1939.

IN pursuance of section 76 of the Rating Act, 1925, and
the Swamp Drainage Act, 1915, and its amendments,
the ratepayers within the areas constituted by the last-
mentioned Acts are hereby notified that 10 per cent. additional
will be added to all rates for the year ending 31st March,
1939, unpaid on the 13th March, 1939.

Rates may be paid at any money-order office on presenta-
tion of the original demand, or to the Collector of Rates,
Land Drainage Engineer's Office, Private Bag, Auckland, C 1.

Notification of Approval of Rules, Wellington Acclimatization
Society.

Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 17th February, 1939.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 25, Animals
Protection and Game Act, 1921-22, I hereby notify
that two copies of the rules of the Wellington Acclimatization
Society made on the 14th day of December, 1938, have been
forwarded to me, and were approved on the 17th day of
February, 1939.
