Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—

(1) Ray Winger Timber Co., Ltd., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at the company’s premises in Manaute Street, Taumarunui.

(2) R. Allan for permission to move two petrol pumps to new positions outside his garage premises in Devon Street East, New Plymouth.

(3) A. Brooks for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his premises in Maungaturoto.

(4) F. D. Dennison for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at the Sir George Grey Hotel, Tairua.

(5) Mrs. E. M. Hammond for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at her store at Thornton’s Bay, Thames.

(6) Wright, Stephenson, and Co., Ltd., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one petrol pump already installed at the company’s premises in Queen Street, Masterton.

(7) Wright, Stephenson, and Co., Ltd., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from four petrol pumps proposed to be installed in the form of a service station at the company’s new premises at the corner of High Street and Kings Crescent, Lower Hutt.

(8) A. N. Donald for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one commercial petrol pump installed at his premises in Maitland.

(9) J. T. Thomas and Co. for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit in drums at the firm’s premises in Ashburton.

(10) Messrs. Moss and Kidd for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from two petrol pumps proposed to be installed outside their garage premises at the corner of Great North Road and Kirk Street, Grey Lynn, Auckland.

(11) H. W. D. Rogers for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed service station at Springs Junction.

(12) D. Bell for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed service station on the main road, Pakuranga, approximately midway between Panmure and Bucklands Beach.

(13) R. B. Shaw for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed service station opposite the post-office in Titirangi Road, Auckland.

(14) Kaponga Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd. for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one petrol pump proposed to be installed at the company’s premises at Rowan.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 24th January, 1939. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
