Notice to Persons affected by Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Taking of Fish for Sale.
I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from O. Andrews, Christchurch, for a license to take fish by means of a new 46 ft. 48 h.p. trawler at Lyttelton and Timaru, to replace the 45 ft. 20 h.p. trawler formerly operated by the applicant at Lyttelton. Proposed market, Christchurch.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 27th December, 1938.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.
I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—
(1) Hart Motors Ltd. for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at premises, to be taken over from Macalisters Ltd., in Medway Street, Gore.
(2) T. Dempsey for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his garage in the Main Street, Tokaanu.
(3) N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one commercial petrol pump installed inside the company’s yard in Victoria Street, Hamilton.
(4) A. R. Brownlee for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his garage in Awhitu.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 28th December, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
