Land taken in connection with the Proposed Work of levelling
and forming Garden Place, in the Borough of Hamilton.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and the
Hamilton Borough Council Empowering Act, 1935, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken in connection with the proposed work
of levelling and forming Garden Place, in the Borough of
Hamilton, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and
Burgesses of the Borough of Hamilton as from the date
hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Pro-
clamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day
of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of
December, 1938.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block V1,
Mangaone Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described
in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for a further
portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway and is not now
required for such purpose), shall, upon the publication hereof
in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such
road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in
like manner as other public highways are controlled and
maintained by the said Board.

Being portion of Railway land.
Situated in Block VI, Mangaone Survey District. (S.O.
20102.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more

and I do also declare that this proclamation shall take effect
on and after the nineteenth day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-eight.
