Additional Land at Doigs taken for the Purposes of the Otago Central Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Otago Central Railway to take further land at Doigs in addition to land previously acquired for the purpose of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 acre 1 rood 2 perches.
Part of Section 111, Block II, Leaning Rock Survey District, Vincent County. (S.O. 439A, Rly.)
In the Otago Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5456, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of December, 1938.

Districts reconstituted under the Marriage Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor-General by the Marriage Act, 1908, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing marriage districts known as the Mauriceville, Carterton, Masterton, and Castlepoint districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into three marriage districts, the names and boundaries whereof shall be as follows :-
MASTERTON DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Makakahi River in line with the western boundary of Section 21, Block XIV, Tararua Survey District; thence down the middle of that river to the south-western boundary of Section 1, E.R. Block XIV, Tararua Survey District ; thence by the south-western boundary of that section to Bruce Road ; thence by Bruce Road to the westernmost corner of Section 171, Block XIII, Mangaone Survey District; thence by the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Section 171 to Mount Monro Road ; thence across that road to the southern boundary of Section 129, Block XIII aforesaid; thence by the southern and eastern boundaries of Section 129 aforesaid to the southern boundary of Section 131, Block XIII aforesaid; thence by the southern boundaries generally of said Section 131 to Smith's Line ; thence across Smith's Line and northerly along its eastern side to the southern boundary of Section 135, Block XIV, Mangaone Survey District ; thence along the southern boundary of Section 135 aforesaid to the Masterton-Woodville Railway ; thence across that railway and northerly along its eastern side to the southern boundary of Section 140, Block XIV, Mangaone Survey District ; thence by the southern boundary of Section 140 aforesaid to Bowen Road ; thence across Bowen Road and southerly along its eastern side to the southern boundary of Lot 2 on L.T. plan 2370, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington ; thence along
