Notice as to the making of By-laws under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Amendment Act, 1933.—(Notice No. Ag. 3625.)

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Amendment Act, 1933, as amended by section 4 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, of the making by the Dannevirke District Agricultural and Pastoral Association on the 18th day of August, 1938, and of the approval by the Governor-General on the 29th day of November, 1938, of by-laws under the above-entitled Act, controlling the admission of persons to any place used or occupied by the said association for any meeting, show, exhibition, competition, or entertainment, held by the said association, which said by-laws came into force on the last-mentioned date. The by-laws made by the Feilding Industrial Agricultural and Pastoral Association on the 25th day of October, 1935, and published in the Gazette on the 21st day of November, 1935, at page 3383, are substantially the same as the by-laws made by the first-mentioned association. Dated at Wellington, this 1st day of December, 1938.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—
(1) Acme Motors, Ltd. for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed service station and car park at Nos. 10–14 Molesworth Street, Wellington.
(2) Denniston Motors for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at the firm’s garage premises at Waimangaroa.
(3) Manning and Coulter for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at the firm’s premises, 18 King Street, Palmerston North.
(4) H. L. Duncan, Ltd., Tauranga, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one commercial petrol pump installed at the company’s quarry at Papamoa.
(5) The Graham Coal Coy., Ltd. for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one petrol pump, already installed, inside the company’s premises in Castle Street, Dunedin, and to install one additional pump alongside.
(6) Neal Motors for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one petrol pump installed on the kerbside in West Street, Pukekohe.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 19th December, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
