Mining Privileges to be struck off the Register.
Mining Registrar's Office, Hokitika, 21st November, 1938.
NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 188 (3) of the Mining Act, 1926, as amended by section 18 of the Mining Amendment Act, 1937, that unless sufficient cause to the contrary be shown within one month of the date hereof the mining privileges mentioned in the Schedule hereto will be struck off the Register.

Notice to Persons affected by Application for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.
I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from--
(1) S. A. G. Jones for permission to move two petrol pumps to a new position on the applicant's present site in the Main Street, Fairlie, to form a drive-through service station.
(2) Moller and Carter for a license to install two petrol pumps in front of a proposed new garage in Nuffield Street, Newmarket, Auckland.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 13th December, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
