Letters of Naturalization revoked.

Wellington, 22nd November, 1938.

IT is hereby notified that, pursuant to clause 7 and clause 7A of the First Schedule to the British Nationality and Status of Aliens (in New Zealand) Act, 1928, the Hon. the Minister of Internal Affairs, by an order dated the 21st day of November, 1938, has revoked the Letters of Naturalization granted to Ferdinand Lusich on the 20th day of November, 1912, and has further directed that Luce Lusich, the wife of the said Ferdinand Lusich, shall cease to be a British subject.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Manufacture and Assembly of Wet Batteries.

I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from Reid (N.Z.) Rubber Mills, Ltd., Auckland, for a license to manufacture storage-battery containers at Auckland.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 8th December, 1938.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.

I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from Donald Reid and Co., Ltd., for a license to install one petrol pump at the company’s new store premises at Logan Point, Dunedin.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 1st December, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

The notice given on page 2373 of Gazette No. 81 of the 10th November, 1938, in respect to the application by Donald Reid and Co., Ltd., is hereby revoked.

(1) R. J. McNamara for permission to transfer one petrol pump from Waipipi to a proposed new garage in Waiuku.
(2) J. A. Graham for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his store at Harihari.
(3) A. E. J. Church for a license to install one petrol pump at his premises in the Main Road, Hakataramea Valley.
(4) H. E. Juson for a license to install four petrol pumps at a proposed new service station on the corner of Maki Street and Wainui Road, Gisborne.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 6th December, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

(1) D. R. Millar for a license to take fish for sale at Port Chalmers by means of a 45 ft. 36 h.p. trawler formerly operated by C. Nicholson, of Timaru. Proposed market, Dunedin.
(2) Messrs. T. B. Moore and H. Webb, Otakou, Dunedin, for a license to take fish for sale at Port Chalmers by means of a 36·4 ft. 7 h.p. launch using trawl-nets. Proposed market, Dunedin.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 1st December, 1938.
