LOCAL FARES AND REGULATIONS—continued.

  1. SPECIAL WEEK-END TICKETS.

By omitting subparagraph (c), and inserting in lieu thereof :-

(b) These tickets will be available for travel on the outward journey from
3 p.m. on Fridays and on Saturdays and Sundays, and will be available for return
up to and including the Monday following the date of issue in each case.

By adding the following new paragraphs :-

  1. SPECIAL FARES ON THE WELLINGTON-JOHNSONVILLE LINE.

(a) Except as provided herein and as may be otherwise specially authorized
the only tickets available for use on the Wellington-Johnsonville line will be those
issued under the provisions of Regulations 13, 20, 21, 22, and 29.

(b) Tickets at the special fares provided for hereunder will be issued for travel
between the stations specified:-

Between and Ordinary single. 6-trip Bearer. Weekly 12-Trip. Monthly Season ticket for young people not exceeding 21 years of age. Railway employees' monthly season ticket (as provided by the Regulations made in that behalf under the Government Railways Act, 1926).

(c) The tickets will be subject to the provisions of the following regulations :-

Ordinary, single No. 1, and No. 40, paragraphs 1 and 2.
Six-trip bearer No. 40, paragraphs 15, 16, 18, and 20.
Weekly twelve-trip No. 39, paragraphs 4, 5, and 7.
Monthly season ticket for young people not exceeding twenty-one years of age No. 19, paragraphs 1 and 2.
Railway employees' monthly season ticket No. 28, paragraph 4.
  1. TICKETS BETWEEN KHANDALLAH OR NGAIO AND WELLINGTON AVAILABLE BETWEEN KAIWARRA AND WELLINGTON.

Tickets available between Khandallah or Ngaio and intermediate stations and Wellington will be available for travel, second-class, between Kaiwarra and Wellington.

  1. Classification of Goods, Live-stock, &c.

By omitting the following :-

Motor-vehicle engines and parts. Owner's risk. Special goods ... B
Plaster-of-paris ornaments, packed. Owner's risk. Rate and a half A
Tanks, iron or galvanized corrugated-iron, not exceeding 50 gallons capacity, to be charged as l cwt. per tank ; exceeding 50 gallons, but not exceeding 100 gallons capacity, to be charged as 2 cwt. per tank. Owner's risk. Special goods ... A
Tanks, iron or galvanized corrugated-iron, not otherwise specified, exceeding 100 gallons, but not exceeding 400 gallons capacity, to be charged as 7 cwt. each tank, and each additional 100 gallons to be counted as 1 cwt. or at actual weight, whichever is the greater. Owner's risk. Special goods ... C
(When tanks belonging to the same consignment are nested each nested tank will be charged half the rate of the outside tank.)

By adding the following :-

Boot-plates (toe and heel) and shanks, packed, consigned direct ex factory ... D
