Authorizing the Laying-off of Road of less Width than 66 ft.

WHEREAS in the opinion of the Minister of Lands it is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown upon the plan of the Town of Ashburton Extension No. 32, affecting parts Rural Section 4906, Block XIII, Ashburton Survey District, is intended to be used wholly for residential purposes, that Collins Street, Little Collins Street, and Menorlie Street shown thereon should be of the width of 66 ft.:

Now, therefore, I, Frank Langstone, Minister of Lands, do hereby, in pursuance of the power conferred upon me by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and of every power me thereunto enabling, authorize the laying-off of such streets of a width of not less than 50 ft.: Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such road.

Given under my hand, this 21st day of October, 1938.

WHEREAS in the opinion of the Minister of Lands it is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown upon the plan of Town of Paraparaumu Beach Extension No. 9, affecting part Section 9, Ngarara West B Block. Block III, Kapiti Survey District, is intended to be used wholly for residential purposes, that the proposed road shown thereon as Takutai Street should be of the width of 66 ft.:

Now, therefore, I, Frank Langstone, Minister of Lands, do hereby, in pursuance of the power conferred upon me by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power me thereunto enabling, authorize the laying-off of Takutai Street of a width of not less than 40 ft.: Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such road.

Given under my hand, this 21st day of October, 1938.

THE following special order made by the Bruce County Council on the 6th day of September, 1938, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928.

SPECIAL ORDER.

THAT in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, the Bruce County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of special order that the plants mentioned in the Schedule hereto (being plants mentioned in the Second Schedule to the said Act as extended from time to time by the Governor-General in Council) are noxious weeds within the County of Bruce.
