Small lots for the same destination station will be charged pro rata of the appropriate tonnage rate, provided not less than 3 tons are loaded in the same wagon. In cases where the charges are computed at a combination of a local and a a classified rate the 12½ per cent. reduction will not apply. |
| Any station North or South Island Main Line and Branches | Bottles and jars, glass, packed, in small lots, except as otherwise provided | Class “ D.” The charge when computed under the provisions of Regulation 71 will be reduced by 12½ per cent. |

By adding to paragraph 2 the following :- KAIKOURA TO CHRISTCHURCH.
Butter, 36s. 6d. per ton, including delivery within the area determined by the department in that behalf.
KAIKOURA TO ADDINGTON.
Butter, 34s. 6d. per ton.
