CORRIGENDUM.

ON page 1880 of Gazette No. 62 of the 18th August, 1938,
under the heading “Decisions of the Bureau of In-
dustry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act,
1936,” it was notified that an application by Parkes and
Griffiths for a license to resell motor-spirit from two pumps
at premises in Main Street, Opunake, had been declined.
The notice should have stated the decision as follows:
“Granted, provided the pumps are installed inside the appli-
cants’ premises.”

Additional Land at Cross Creek taken for the Purposes of the
Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, con-
venience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier
Railway to take further land at Cross Creek in addition to land
previously acquired for the purpose of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works
Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purposes above mentioned.

In the Wellington Land District ; as the same are more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5289, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and
thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of
August, 1938.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Police-station in Block I,
Waiheke Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a police-
station ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of August, one
thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

100116, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of
August, 1938.
