Variation of Notices constituting the Torere Development Scheme.

WHEREAS by notice dated the 14th day of April, 1931, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 31 of the 23rd day of April, 1931, at page 1056, the lands described in the Schedule thereto were declared to be subject to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936):

And whereas by notice dated the 2nd day of December, 1931, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 92 of the 10th day of December, 1931, at page 3463, the lands described in the Schedule thereto were declared to be subject to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936):

And whereas by notice dated the 23rd day of July, 1932, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 51 of the 28th day of July, 1932, at page 1748, the land described in the Schedule thereto was declared to be subject to section 522 of the Native Land Act, 1931 (now Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936):

And whereas the titles to the lands described in the said Schedules have been merged in new titles by consolidation orders made by the Native Land Court on the 13th day of August, 1937, pursuant to section 162 of the Native Land Act, 1931, and in accordance with the Ngaitai Consolidation Scheme confirmed by the Airing Native Minister on the 1st day of July, 1937, and notified in the New Zealand Gazette No. 45 of the 8th day of July, 1937, at page 1611:

And whereas it is desirable to vary the said notices so as to show the new titles and to include certain additional areas in the said Torere Development Scheme:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the Native lands described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act, and to be called or known as the Torere Development Scheme; and to the extent to which the said lands set out in the Schedule hereto are also included in the Schedules to the said notices dated the 14th day of April, 1931, the 2nd day of December, 1931, and the 23rd day of July, 1932, the Board of Native Affairs doth hereby vary the said notices accordingly.
