IN the Schedule to the Proclamation setting apart Crown land for defence purposes in Blocks IX and XIII, Halswell, XVI, Leeston, and I, Ellesmere Survey Districts, published in New Zealand Gazette, 1938, page 1180, read “Ellesmere Lake” in lieu of “Ellerslie Lake.”

IN the Schedule to the Proclamation dated 12th July, 1938, proclaiming land as road and road closed in Block XIII, Otahoua Survey District, Wairarapa South County, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 1938, page 1641, insert “P.W.D. 92019” between the words “plan marked” and “and coloured.”

Additional Land near Grovetown taken for the Purposes of the Picton-Hurunui Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Picton-Hurunui Railway to take further land near Grovetown in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway: Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of July, 1938.

Additional Land taken for Recreation Purposes in the Town of Pembroke.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for recreation purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.
