I HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect to applications for licenses have been made.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—

(1) Glaxo Laboratories (N.Z.), Ltd., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at the company’s factory at Bunnythorpe.

(2) J. E. Thomas, for a license to install four petrol pumps at a proposed new service station on the Ohinewai-Te Hoe Road approximately four miles and a half distant from Ohinewai.

(3) E. V. Sharp, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his garage premises in Jellicoe Street, Te Puke.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 28th July, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

Including Additional Land in the Te Kaha Development Scheme.

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the Native land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act and to be included in the Te Kaha Development Scheme (Whangaparaoa Section).


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of Native land in the Waiariki Native Land Court District, situate in Block I, Matakaoa Survey District, Block II, Whangaparaoa North Survey District, Block III, Whangaparaoa Survey District, and Block I, Matakaoa West Survey District, and known as Whangaparaoa 2D Block, containing 2,997 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, and being all of the land in provisional register, Volume 42, folio 13, Gisborne Registry.

Dated at Wellington, this 12th day of July, 1938.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Taking of Fish.

I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from J. M. Edmondston, Moeraki, Otago, for a license to take fish at Moeraki by means of a 28 ft. 10 h.p. launch, using set and drag nets and long and hand lines and trawling. Proposed market, Dunedin.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 21st July, 1938.

IT is hereby notified that an order of adoption as set out in the Schedule hereunder was made by the Native Land Court at Otaki on the 30th day of March, 1938, under the provisions of the Native Land Act, 1931.
