Declaring Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Areas.

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations, 1938, I, Walter Nash, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that sufficient majorities of the producers in the respective areas of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such areas should be declared to be pool areas for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare the respective areas of land defined as aforesaid to be Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Areas for the purposes of the said regulations under the respective names set out in the said Schedule before the description of each area, and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the fourteenth day of July, 1938.

SCHEDULE.

FIRST PART.

Rodney Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.

THIS area covers the whole of the Rodney County with the exception of those farms lying within that area which has been defined by Orders Nos. 21, 22, 23, under the Dairy Factory Supply Regulations, 1936, as the Albertland Co-operative Dairy Factory Company, Limited, cream-collection area.

SECOND PART.

Wellsford Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.

That area which has been defined by Orders Nos. 21, 22, 23, under the Dairy Factory Supply Regulations, 1936, and lying within the county boundaries of Rodney and Omatea, as the cream-collection area of the Albertland Co-operative Dairy Factory Company, Limited.

THIRD PART.

Kainui Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.

Commencing at the junction of the Kainui Road at the Main North Highway; thence to Taupiri Railway-station; thence proceeding down Orini Road to Rutherford’s Corner; thence in a straight line across country to the Kainui Road proceeding along the Kainui Road to the junction of the Komakarau Road; thence in a straight line across country to the farm occupied by F. Engle; thence proceeding along Driver’s Road to Kainui Road; and thence back to the starting-point and including all farms lying within this area.

FOURTH PART.

Waiuku Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.

  1. Commencing from Brown’s Gully on the Drury–Waiuku Road; and proceeding thence to the Town of Waiuku and including all side roads within this distance including the Run and all side roads leading off the Run; thence to Pearman’s Corner to Rose Corner on the Drury–Waiuku Road including all side roads; thence continuing to Glenbrook Railway-station Road; thence to Gooseman’s Corner on Tramway Road; thence returning to the Town of Waiuku, via Bald Hill and including all side roads.

  2. From Waiuku Town back to the Glenbrook Corner via the Pukeoware Settlement and all side roads.

  3. From the junction of the Waiuku–Pukekohe Road with the Aka Aka Road opposite the farm occupied by Madden; thence continuing to Walter’s farm continuing towards Aka Aka and including all side roads; thence turning south from this road at Conroy’s Corner and proceeding directly to the Aka Aka Dairy Factory Corner, including all side roads on the western side of this road; thence turning in a westerly direction and proceeding towards Otawa to Wright’s Corner including side roads; thence proceeding in a southerly direction to the farm occupied by C. Denize and including all or any side roads.

FIFTH PART.

Patumahoe Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.

  1. Commencing from the point of Yate’s Bridge on the Papakura–Kingseat Road to Waiau Pa Corner, thence proceeding to the right to Waiau Pa and including all side roads.

  2. From Waiau Pa proceeding to the extreme end of the road on the foreshore of the Manakau Harbour and including all side roads.

  3. From Waiau Pa proceeding south to Taylor’s Corner including all side roads and thence to Hogwood’s Corner on the Kingseat–Papakura Road; thence proceeding also from Taylor’s Corner to Brown’s Gully on the Drury–Waiuku Road and including all side roads.

  4. From Pilcher’s Corner proceeding along the Patumahoe Road and proceeding to the Township of Patumahoe including all side roads and the farm occupied by Pearson Brothers.

  5. From Pilcher’s Corner to the farm occupied by Caulier on the Drury–Waiuku Road then to Kirkness’s Corner proceeding back to the Township of Patumahoe and including all side roads.

  6. From the Township of Patumahoe to Helvetia Corner, thence continuing to Prew’s Corner on the Helvetia Road. From Helvetia Corner also on the Patumahoe–Pukekohe Road to Lawrie’s Corner, proceeding down Union Road to Mauku Settlement and including all side roads.

  7. From Mauku Settlement to the farm occupied by Watson on the Waiuku Road and including a side road past Harper’s farm to Sommerville’s Corner; thence back to Mauku Settlement via the church; thence returning to the Township of Patumahoe and including all side roads.

SIXTH PART.

Rukuhia Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.

All that area in the Waipa and Waikato Counties bounded by a line commencing on the south-western bank of the Waikato River at the mouth of a stream forming the eastern boundary of Allotment 4, Pukekura Parish: thence up the said stream along the eastern boundary of the said Allotment 4, through Allotment 4A, across the Cambridge–Ohaupo Road, along the eastern boundaries of Allotments 46, 59, through Allotment 59A, along the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 59A, through Allotments 80, 80A, 79, to the Parallel Road forming the south-western boundary of Allotment 79, Pukekura Parish; thence across and along the said Parallel Road in an easterly direction to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 78, along the eastern boundary of Allotments 78, 77, 76, Pukekura Parish, along the south-western boundary of Allotment 76, across a drain reserve and across a road, along the south-western boundaries of Allotments 75, 74, 73, 72, 71, 70, Pukekura Parish, across a road, along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 10092, Pukekura Parish, and along the eastern boundaries of Allotments 163, 164, Ngaroto Parish; thence along the south-western boundary of the said Allotment 164, across Kites Road, along the south-western boundaries of Allotments, 182, 183, across Lynds Road, along the south-western boundaries of Allotments 184, 185, 186, 187, Ngaroto Parish, to Norrish Road; thence along the north-western boundary of the said Allotment 187, across Norrish Road in a westerly direction, along the south-western boundary of Allotment 179, Te Rapa Parish, along the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 175, across the Cambridge–Ohaupo Road, the southern boundary of Allotment 302, Te Rapa Parish; thence in a south-westerly direction along the south-eastern boundary of Allotments 302, 301, Te Rapa Parish, along the south-western boundary of the said Allotment 301, Te Rapa Parish, across the Hamilton–Te Kuiti State Highway, along the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 301, Ngaroto Parish, along the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 314, along the south-western boundaries of Allotments 314, 315, 316, Ngaroto Parish, to the North Island Main Trunk Railway; thence in a northerly direction along the said railway to its intersection with the south boundary of the Hamilton Borough, along the said Hamilton Borough boundary in a southerly and easterly direction to the south-eastern corner of the Hamilton Borough; thence along the Waikato River to the south-west corner of Section 254, along the southern boundary of Section 254 to the south-east corner of that section; thence along the Hamilton–Rotorua Main Highway to a point at the north corner of Section 155; thence by line running south-west to the Waikato River along the north-west boundaries of Sections 155, 153, 152, 151, 150, 148, and 147; thence along the western bank of the Waikato River to the commencing point at the mouth of the stream on the south-east corner of Lot 4.

SEVENTH PART.

Otorohanga Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.

All that area lying within the Otorohanga District and bounded by a line commencing at the south-west corner of Section 5, Block XIV, Mangaorongo Survey District; thence due east to western boundary of Block XVI, Mangaorongo Survey District, along the western and southern boundaries of Block XVI, Mangaorongo Survey District, to Mangaorongo Survey District boundary, eastern boundary of Mangaorongo Survey District to southern boundary of Mangatutu Block; thence by southern and eastern boundary of Rangitoto A No. 5; thence by eastern boundary of Mangaorongo Survey District towards the north and west by the boundary of Te Awamutu Area to Waiwhakaata 3E 4A, Block XI, Pirongia Survey District; thence following the Moakuraru Stream south-west to bridge on Honikiwi Main Highway; and thence along the Tapuae Road to the Waitomo Caves Road; thence along the said road to the Hangatiki Railway-station; thence following the county boundary to Section 5, Block XIV, Mangaorongo Survey District, the original point of commencement.
