A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the
Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road hereby stopped :-

under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of
July, 1938.

Amending a Proclamation proclaiming a Road-line laid out
through Waihapa Blocks, Block I, Kaeo Survey District,
North Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the thirteenth
day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-
eight, and published in Gazette of the twenty-first day of
that month, a road-line laid out through Waihapa Blocks,
Block I, Kaeo Survey District, was proclaimed as a public
road pursuant to section four hundred and eighty-seven of the
Native Land Act, 1931 :

And whereas certain errors were made in the description of
the said road in the Schedule to the Proclamation herein-
before referred to, and it is desirable that the said Schedule
should be amended :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by
section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land
Act, 1931, and of all other powers and authorities enabling
me in this behalf, do hereby amend the Proclamation dated
the thirteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-eight, hereinbefore referred to, by substituting the
description of the road set forth in the Schedule hereto for
the description of the road set forth in the Schedule to the
said Proclamation.

Settlement Lands in Marlborough and Nelson Land Districts
proclaimed to be Ordinary Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section forty-nine of the Land for Settle-
ments Act, 1925, as amended by subsection one of
section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1935, it is
enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation
declare any settlement land to be, inter alia, ordinary Crown
land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924 :

And whereas the lands described in the Schedule hereto are
settlement lands within the meaning of the Land for Settle-
ments Act, 1925 :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section
forty-nine, amended as aforesaid, I, George Vere Arundell,
Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and
after the date of the gazetting hereof the lands described in
the Schedule hereto shall be ordinary Crown land available
for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.

All that land containing 7,497 acres 3 roods 20 perches,
more or less, being part of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 13,
and 14, Muller Run ; Sections 62, 63, 64, 65, and part of
Sections 66, 67, 68, and 69, Fairfield Run ; Sections 1, 2, 3,
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20,
Barcelfs Run, all in the District of Awatere, and situated
in Blocks II, III, V, and VI, Barefell Survey District, and
Block I, Tone Survey District.

Also all that land containing 726 acres, more or less, being
Sections 1 and 2, Lake McRae Run, and Sections 111 and 112,
Ottley Fells Run, all in the District of Clarence, and situated
in Block IX, Barefell Survey District.

As the same are more particularly delineated on plan
marked L. and S. 8/5/3A, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
edged green.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing 525 acres, more or less, being
Section 1, Block XV, Motupiko Survey District, and Section
1, Block 111, Rotoiti Survey District, and being all the land
comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 19, folio 277 (Nelson
Registry).

Also all that area containing 172 acres 0 roods 35 perches,
more or less, being Section 1, Block II, and Section 5,
Block VI, Rotoiti Survey District, and being all the land
comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 19, folio 276 (Nelson
Registry).

Also all that area containing together 168 acres, more or
less, being Sections 1 and 2 of Square 56, situated in Block VI,
Rotoiti Survey District, and being all the land comprised in
Certificate of Title, Volume 72, folio 205 (Nelson Registry).

Also all that area containing 109 acres, more or less, being
Section 3, Block VI, Rotoiti Survey District, and being all
the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 19, folio
271 (Nelson Registry).

Also all that area containing together 197 acres, more or
less, being Sections 3 and 4 of Square 56, situated in Block X,
Rotoiti Survey District, and being all the land comprised in
Certificate of Title, Volume 72, folio 206 (Nelson Registry).

Also all that area of land containing together 158 acres,
more or less, being Section 5, Block III, Alma Survey District,
and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title,
Volume 18, folio 244 (Nelson Registry).

Also all that area containing together 740 acres, more or
less, being Sections 3, 4, and 5 of Square 59, and Sections 1
and 2 of Square 58, situated in Blocks IV and VII, Rainbow
Survey District, and being all the land comprised in Certificate
of Title, Volume 72, folio 210 (Nelson Registry).

Also all that area containing together 208 acres, more or
less, being Section 4, Block I, and Section 3, Block IV, Wairau
Survey District, and being all the land comprised in Certi-
cate of Title, Volume 21, folio 129 (Nelson Registry).

As the same are more particularly delineated on plan marked
L. and S. 8/5/3B, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of
