Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—

(1) J. A. Asher, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his hotel at Tokaanu.

(2) Kinnell-Leit Motor Co., Ltd., for permission to install an additional petrol pump at the company’s garage in Hikia Street, Taumarunui.

(3) Thomas Ballinger and Co., Ltd., for a license to install two petrol pumps inside the company’s premises at 70 Ghuznee Street, Wellington, for the purpose of the retail sale of motor-spirit.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 10th February, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—

(1) Messrs. H. Hewitt and H. L. Davis, for permission to take over two petrol pumps on the corner of Waipapa Road and Kainui Street, Hataitai, and transfer them to the corner of Tairimu Street and Moxham Avenue, Hataitai, and install six additional pumps alongside in the form of a service station.

(2) W. McDicken, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his store at Waikokowai.

(3) A. J. R. Poad, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a garage in Halscombe.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 10th February, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
