PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the Native lands described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act and to be included in the Mahia Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE.
THE following Native lands situate in the Tairawhiti Native Land Court District :—
Oraka 9B and 10B containing 29 acres 0 roods 21 perches, situated in Block V, Mahanga Survey District, part Rural Section 3, Mahia, and being parts of Lots 9 and 10 on Deposited Plan 4091.
Oraka 12C containing 61 acres 2 roods, situated in Block V, Mahanga Survey District, part Section 14, Block V, Mahanga Survey District, part Mahia Rural Sections 3 and 4, and being part of Lot 12 on D.P. 4091.
Lots 1 and 2, Deposited Plan 4091, containing 53 acres 2 roods 5 perches, situated in Block V, Mahanga Survey District, part Rural Sections 1, 2, and 3, Mahia, part Section 2, Block V, Mahanga Survey District.
Total area : 144 acres 0 roods 26 perches.

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby varies the notice dated the 23rd day of November, 1937, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 77 of the 25th day of November, 1937, at page 2592, declaring Matapihi 1A 3D 6B and other blocks to be subject to Part I of the said Act, by excluding therefrom the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of Native land in the Waiariki Native Land Court District, situate in Block XV, Tauranga Survey District, and known as part of the Ngapeke 4A Block containing approximately 32 acres, and being that portion between the Tauranga – Te Puke Road and the Tauranga Harbour.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of Native land in the Tairawhiti Native Land Court District, situate in Block VII, Nuhaka Survey District, and known as Nuhaka 2A 4A 14B 2 and 2A 40 3 Block, containing approximately 39 acres 0 roods 17 perches.

THE following claim for the registration of school colours, &c., has been made in accordance with the regulations published in the New Zealand Gazette on 12th August, 1915, and amendments thereto.
The claim will be registered unless objection is received by me within forty days of the publication hereof.
TAKAKA DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL.
Colours—Dark blue and light blue.
Badge—Dark blue shield with light blue band, fern leaf across the top, the letters T.D.H.S. in monogram and a lighted lamp in the left and right top corners respectively, and an open book in the lower section. The shield resting upon a scroll bearing the motto “In Nitendo Virtus.”

No. 1020 : Australia—East Coast. Beecroft Head to Port Jackson. Large corrections 21/1/38. Slip plate added to southern border ; corrections at Port Kembla.
No. 2119 : New South Wales—Newcastle Harbour. Large corrections 21/1/38. Amended depths in the channel, the Basins, North Harbour, and Port Waratah.
