GALWAY, Governor-General.
PURSUANT to section sixty-five of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and to an Order in Council made thereunder on the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, His Excellency the Governor-General doth hereby appoint
Tiputa of Mapumai, Atiu,
to be a member of the Island Council of Atiu during his pleasure as from the date hereof, in lieu of Matenga (resigned).
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 23rd day of June, 1938.

Kairua, of Manihiki,
to be a member of the Island Council of Manihiki during his pleasure as from the date hereof, in lieu of Taipai (resigned).

Land temporarily reserved in the Wellington Land District for a Public School Site.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve the land in the Wellington Land District, described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a public school site.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 21 perches, more or less, being part of Section 20, Block IX, Hunua Survey District, and being Lots 3 and 4 on the plan numbered 216/18, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 27th day of June, 1938.

Revoking in part a Warrant setting apart Crown Land under Section 161 of the Land Act, 1924.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, the Warrant dated the eighteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and published in Gazette No. 23 of the twenty-sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, page 717, setting apart the said land for disposal under section one hundred and sixty-one of the Land Act, 1924.

SECTION 40, Block XI, Ruakaka Survey District: Area, 1 rood 5 perches.
