Proclaiming Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

PURSUANT to section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the purchase of the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown, do hereby proclaim that the said land has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE.

All that area containing by admeasurement 143 acres 1 rood 27 perches, more or less, situated in Block II, Whakatane Survey District, Whakatane County, being part of Allotment 245 and part of Allotment 246A No. 2, Parish of Waimana, bounded, commencing at the southernmost corner of Lot 1 on D.P. 24985, being part of Allotment 248A No. 2 of the said parish; thence by right lines, bearing 213° 57', 169·5 links, 230° 47', 341·5 links, 223° 49', 185·5 links, 260° 12', 477·3 links, 229° 40', 266·2 links, 269° 57', 369·5 links, 245° 26', 391·4 links, 222° 48', 372·9 links, 242° 37', 272·4 links, 271° 32', 138·1 links, 255° 45', 313·3 links, 300° 16', 886·9 links, 18° 32', 524·8 links, 6° 05', 459·5 links, 16° 43', 315·0 links, 4° 26' 30", 600·4 links, 355° 36', 275·2 links, 17° 34', 972·5 links, 339° 39', 509·6 links, to a public road; thence by that road to the eastern boundary of the land on D.P. 22293, being part of Allotment 246A No. 2 of the said parish; thence by that boundary to the north-western boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 24985 aforesaid; thence by the north-western and south-western boundaries of the last-mentioned lot to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 1/935, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 29064.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of June, 1938.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Rangitoto Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 1 rood 20·6 perches.

Being portion of part Section 21, Rangitikei Agricultural Reserve.

Situated in Block II, Rangitoto Survey District. (S.O. 20042.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 99088, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of June, 1938.
