(2) In lieu of repayment as specified in clause three of the said Order in Council the said sum shall be repaid as follows :—
(a) By twenty equal payments of three hundred and fourteen pounds fifteen shillings (£314 15s.), one of such payments to be made at the end of every half-year commencing from the date on which the said sum is borrowed. Each such half-yearly payment shall be applied firstly in payment of interest computed at the rate of three pounds ten shillings (£3 10s.) per centum per annum on the amount of the principal for the time being outstanding at the beginning of each such half-year, and the balance of such half-yearly payment in reduction of principal.
(b) By a payment at the end of the tenth year from the date of the borrowing of the said sum of a sum equal to the amount to which the said principal has been reduced in accordance with the preceding paragraph (a) hereof after payment of the aforesaid twenty (20) half-yearly payments.

Varying the Determinations in respect of Portion (£12,000) of the Kaitaia Town Board's Loan of £12,360.

Present :
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the twenty-second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising in New Zealand by the Kaitaia Town Board (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) of the sum of twelve thousand three hundred and sixty pounds (£12,360) by a loan to be known as “Water Supply Loan, 1936” (hereinafter called “the said loan”) :
And whereas the authority conferred by the said Order in Council has not been fully exercised, and it is expedient to vary certain of the determinations aforesaid in respect of twelve thousand pounds (£12,000) of the said loan (hereinafter called “the said sum”) :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary certain of the determinations aforesaid in respect of the said sum by prescribing as follows :—
(1) In lieu of the term of twenty-six (26) years specified in clause one of the said Order in Council the term shall be ten (10) years.
(2) In lieu of provision being made for the repayment of the said sum by the establishment of a sinking fund as specified in clause three of the said Order in Council the said sum shall be repaid as follows :—
(a) By twenty equal payments of four hundred and nineteen pounds thirteen shillings and fourpence (£419 13s. 4d.), one of such payments to be made at the end of every half-year commencing from the date on which the said sum is borrowed. Each such half-yearly payment shall be applied firstly in payment of interest computed at the rate of three pounds ten shillings (£3 10s.) per centum per annum on the amount of the principal for the time being outstanding at the beginning of each such half-year, and the balance of such half-yearly payment in reduction of principal.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Parish of Titirangi, Waitemata Survey District, North Auckland Land District.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 1st day of June, 1938.

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a site for a public hall : And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a site for a library :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a site for a public hall to a reserve for a site for a library.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the City of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 29·2 perches, more or less, being the residue of Allotment 107, Parish of Titirangi, situated at the corner of Point Chevalier and Great North Roads, Block XV, Waitemata Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/128A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
James William Anderson,
Samuel John Bear,
Norman Horscroft,
Ernest William Jordan, and
Harman William Kuhtz
to be the Tirau Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Library, Tirau, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
TIRAU DOMAIN.—AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 8 acres 0 roods 12 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 of Section 12, Lot 1 of Section 2, and Section 11, Block II, Patetere North Survey District : Bounded towards the north by Rotorua–Cambridge Road, 775·5 links ; towards the east by a public road, 1062·6 links ; towards the south by Section 3, Block II, Patetere North Survey District, 781·4 links ; and towards the west by Lot 2 of Section 2, and Lot 2 of Section 12, Block II, Patetere North Survey District, 1098·4 links : be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/337, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
