THE following list of teachers is issued under the authority of the Minister of Education in accordance with the requirements of the Education Amendment Act, 1924. The list contains the names of—

(a) Teachers added to the Teachers’ Register :
(b) Teachers already in the Teachers’ Register—
(1) Now graded, but not previously graded :
(2) Whose grading has been altered as the result of correction in marks, or change in certificate :
(3) Who are now graded under an additional division.

Officiating Ministers for 1938.—Notice No. 17.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908, the following name of an officiating minister within the meaning of the said Act is published for general information :—

The Church of the Province of New Zealand, commonly called the Church of England.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Taking of Fish.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—

(1) W. H. Brown, for a license to take fish and crayfish at Kaikoura by means of two 13½ ft. row-boats and two 12 ft. row-boats, using set-nets and hand-lines and crayfish pots, and supplying the Kaikoura market.

(2) J. D. Caldwell, for a license to take fish at Westport by means of a 28 ft. 27 h.p. launch, using long and hand lines and set and drag nets, and supplying the Westport market.

(3) A. Thatcher, for a license to take fish at Tolaga Bay by means of a 26 ft. 6 h.p. launch, using long and hand lines, and supplying the local market.

(4) A. W. Urquhart, for a license to take fish and crayfish at Auckland by means of a 45 ft. launch, using hand-lines and crayfish pots, and supplying the Auckland market.

(5) L. F. Fromont, for a license to take fish at Kai Iwi by means of a 16 ft. 2¾ h.p. launch, using drag-nets and long and hand lines, and supplying the Wanga-nui and Kai Iwi markets.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 8th June, 1938.
