STAFF.

Lieutenant A. R. Currie, B.E., N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, 2nd Field Company, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, Wellington, and is appointed District Engineer Works Officer, Southern Military District, and Adjutant, 3rd Field Company, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, Christchurch. Dated, 4th May, 1938.

Lieutenant P. G. Monk, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, 3rd Field Company, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, Christchurch, and is appointed Adjutant, 2nd Field Company, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, Wellington. Dated 4th May, 1938.

N.Z. PERMANENT STAFF.

Hon. Lieutenant E. J. Browning is posted to the Retired List, with the rank of Captain, and with permission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 3rd May, 1938.

REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY.

Captain C. F. Crosbie, 16th Light Battery, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), Area 11. Dated 24th November, 1937.

N.Z. CORPS OF SIGNALS.

Hon. Lieutenant (Quartermaster) H. P. V. Brown, Southern Depot, to be Hon. Captain (Quartermaster). Dated 1st April, 1936.

THE AUCKLAND REGIMENT (COUNTESS OF RANFURLY’S OWN.)

The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) J. Pybus, 2nd Cadet Battalion, is confirmed.

THE HAURAKI REGIMENT.

Captain T. R. Birdsall, Regimental Depot, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b) Area 2. Dated 28th April, 1938.

THE WELLINGTON REGIMENT.

Lieutenant M. C. Fairbrother, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), Area 12. Dated 14th April, 1938.

THE WELLINGTON WEST COAST REGIMENT.

Lieutenant P. G. Stevens, 2nd Cadet Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), Area 6. Dated 28th April, 1938.

THE HAWKE’S BAY REGIMENT.

The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 30, dated 13th April, 1938, relative to the appointment of Raymond Hill to 2nd Lieutenant (on probation), is hereby cancelled. Dated 7th April, 1938.

THE TARANAKI REGIMENT.

Captain E. E. Stevens, from the Nelson, Marlborough, and West Coast Regiment, to be Captain, with seniority from 1st December, 1933, and is posted to the Regimental Depot. Dated 14th April, 1938.

Captain E. R. McKeon, 1st Cadet Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), Area 8. Dated 3rd May, 1938.

Lieutenant J. D. Roulston, 1st Cadet Battalion, resigns his commission. Dated 2nd May, 1938.

THE CANTERBURY REGIMENT.

Lieutenant W. Hughes, 4th Cadet Battalion, to be Captain. Dated 22nd April, 1938.

Lieutenant G. Guy, 3rd Cadet Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), Area 10. Dated 14th April, 1938.

Lieutenant A. R. Alexander, from the Southland Regiment, to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 1st April, 1938, and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 22nd April, 1938.
