AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Borough of Hamilton.—Town of Hamilton East.

Lot 9 of part Section 419: Area, 11 acres 2 roods 38-67 perches.
Upset annual rental, £15.
Weighted with £160 (to be paid in cash) for improvements,
comprising a dwelling in poor condition.
A farmlet situated on the corner of Peach Grove Road
and Clyde Streets, approximately half a mile from Hamilton
Post-office and Railway-station; access by metalled road
and footpath. Section is intersected by a deep gully;
approximately 5 acres in grass, balance being covered with
gorse and blackberry which requires attention.

Section has a frontage to the Raglan–Hamilton Road,
being situated approximately three-quarters of a mile from
Raglan Post-office. Undulating land at present in fern
and gorse. Would make a good residential-site.

Settlement Land in Wellington Land District for Selection
on Renewable Lease.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 18th May, 1938.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections
are open for selection on renewable lease under the
Land Act, 1924, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1925 ;
and applications will be received at the District Lands
and Survey Office, State Fire Building, Wellington, up to
4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 27th June, 1938.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the
District Lands and Survey Office, State Fire Building,
Wellington, on Wednesday, 29th June, 1938, at 10.30 a.m.,
but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined
by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown
Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the
examination of applicants.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN (SETTLEMENT) LAND.
Petone Borough.—Wilford Settlement.

Section 5, Block III: Area, 28·71 perches. Capital value,
£205; half-yearly rent, £5 2s. 6d.
Section 8, Block III: Area, 34·43 perches. Capital value,
£225; half-yearly rent, £5 12s. 6d.
Section 12, Block III: Area, 35 perches. Capital value,
£220; half-yearly rent, £5 10s.
Section 13, Block III: Area, 1 rood 2·67 perches. Capital
value, £255; half-yearly rent, £6 7s. 6d.
Section 8, Block XIV: Area, 32·11 perches. Capital
value, £250; half-yearly rent, £6 5s.

Wilford Settlement is situated in the eastern part of the
Borough of Petone, and the sections are only a few minutes
walk from Ava Railway-station. These sections are the last
to be offered in the settlement and are well suited for resi-
dential purposes, as sewerage, drainage, high-pressure water-
supply, gas, and electric lighting are all available, while the
soil is of a rich alluvial nature suitable for all kinds of
gardening.

The sections in Block III all front Wakefield Street, while
Section 8, Block XIV, fronts on to Patrick Street (known
locally as Tennyson Street) and is adjacent to Wilford School.

The attention of intending lessees is drawn to an easement
for public purposes through Sections 12 and 13, Block III,
as shown on Survey Office plan No. 42/97, deposited with the
Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

Any further particulars required may be obtained from the
undersigned.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

EVIDENCE having been lodged with me of the loss of
the Outstanding Duplicate of Memorandum of Mortgage
No. 34569, affecting 25 acres situated in the Parish of Wai-okea,
being Allotment 10 of Suburbs of Opotiki, and being all the
land in certificate of title, Vol. 66, folio 13, Gisborne Land
Registry, whereof A. J. ENTRICAN AND CO., LIMITED, a
duly incorporated company is the registered mortgagee,
together with an application to register a change of name
of the said mortgagee and application having been made to
dispense with production of the said outstanding duplicate
under Section 40 of the Land Transfer Act, 1915, I hereby
give notice that it is my intention to register such change of
name accordingly on the expiration of fourteen days from the
date of the Gazette containing this notice.

day of May, 1938.
