CORRIGENDA.

ON page 491 of Gazette No. 19 of the 17th March, 1938, under the heading “Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, Retail Sale of Motor-spirit,” it was notified that the Taranaki Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., had applied for permission to move three petrol pumps from a position behind the factory building to a new position nearer the road and alongside the building. This notice should have referred to “The Tamaki Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., Te Rehunga.”

THE following correction is to be made to the Warrant dated the 8th day of March, 1938, and published in Gazette No. 19 of the 17th March, 1938, at page 482 :—

“Unalienated Crown Land in the Otago Mining District, Otago Land District, open for Sale.

“For District Lands and Survey Office, Invercargill, read District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin.”

Land set apart as an Addition to the Cromwell Athenaeum Endowment.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the pieces of closed roads described in the First Schedule hereto, being areas adjacent to or intersecting the Cromwell Athenaeum Endowment described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 1454R, Block V, Wakefield Survey District: Area, 2 roods 8·7 perches, more or less.

Section 1456R, Block V, Wakefield Survey District: Area, 3 roods 24 perches, more or less.

Also Section 1457R, Block III, Cromwell Survey District: Area, 2 acres 1 rood 0·7 perches, more or less.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 270 acres 0 roods 8·3 perches, more or less, being Section 16, Block III, Cromwell Survey District, and Section 1455R and part Section 11,

Block V, Wakefield Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 1454R, Block V, 558·5 links; towards the east generally by the Clutha River River-bank Reserve, 16683·7 links; towards the south-west by Section 36, Block V aforesaid, and Lots 2 to 8, Elspeth Subdivision Deposit Plan 2970, Block III, 5541·7 links; and towards the north-west generally by a public road, 12043·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages, more or less, and excepting out of the above-described area the other part of Section 11, two closed roads, a public road, and a tail-race reserve, each 100 links wide, allowance for which has been made in the area. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2379A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of March, 1938.

Revoking the setting-apart of Crown Land in the North Auckland Land District for Selection by Discharged Soldiers under Ordinary Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the Gazette of the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at page 3509, setting apart lands for selection by discharged soldiers under the Land Act, 1924, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.

SECTION 13, Block X, Whangape Survey District, Pareokawa Block: Area, 310 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of March, 1938.
