Declaring Part of Section 9, Block II, Makotuku Survey District,
Waimarino Acclimatization District, to be a Sanctuary.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by section six of the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a sanctuary for the purposes of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area, in the Wellington Land District, situated in the Waimarino County, containing by admeasurement 9 acres l rood 8 perches, more or less, being part Section 9, Block II, Makotuku Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on Middle Road, being the easternmost corner of Section 8, Block II, Makotuku Survey District; and proceeding thence by the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 8 for a distance of 4827·5 links to the Mangaone
Stream ; thence by the said stream and the Orautoha River to a point on a line which is parallel to and 248 links distant from the aforesaid boundary of Section 8; thence in a south-easterly direction by the said line for a distance of 1320 links; thence by a right line bearing 215° 28' for a distance of 198 links; thence towards the south-east by a right line bearing 125° 50' 50” for a distance of 1100 links; thence towards the north-east by a right line bearing 35° 51′ for a distance of 666·7 links; thence towards the south-east by a right line bearing 125° 51′ for a distance of 600 links; thence towards the south-west by a right line bearing 215° 51′ for a distance of 666·7 links; thence towards the south-east by a right line bearing 125° 50' 50” for a distance of 1642·5 links to Middle Road; and thence in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 50 links by Middle Road to the easternmost corner of Section 8, Block II, Makotuku Survey District, the point of commencement.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
PURSUANT to the authority vested in me by section sixty-five of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and by an order in Council of the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, providing for the constitution of Island Councils in the Cook Islands, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby nominate and appoint Mitiave to be a member of the Island Council of Niue, to hold office during my pleasure as from the twenty-fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, vice Pitevalu, deceased.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, this 22nd day of December, 1937.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed Edgar William Michael Wallis, of Hangaroa, to be an Officer for the purposes of Part II of the first-mentioned Act in respect of the East Coast Acclimatization District.
