Revoking the Notice prescribing the Amount of Special Orchard-tax payable in the Christchurch Commercial Fruitgrowing District.—(Notice No. Ag. 3332.)
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister of Agriculture by subsection (3) of section 4 of the Orchard-tax Act, 1927, I, Frederick Jones, acting for the Minister of Agriculture, do hereby revoke the notice prescribing the amount of special orchard-tax payable by the occupier of every orchard within the Christchurch Commercial Fruitgrowing District, given under the hand of the Minister of Agriculture on the 9th day of May, 1931, and published in the Gazette on the 14th day of the same month at page 1463, and do hereby declare that such revocation shall take effect on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

THE following special order made by the Southland County Council on the 9th day of February, 1938, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928.

SPECIAL ORDER.
The Southland County Council hereby resolves by way of special order that broom (Cytisus scoparius) be and the same is hereby declared to be a noxious weed under the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, within the jurisdiction of the Southland County Council—that is to say, within the limits of all parts of the County of Southland not comprised in a town district.
