Consenting to the Assignment to John Wilmer Beggs, of Whangamomona, Garage Proprietor, by Leonard Cooper, of Whangamomona, of his Rights, Powers, and Privileges under an Order in Council dated 16th December, 1936.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of February, 1938.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the assignment to John Wilmer Beggs, of Whangamomona, Garage Proprietor, by Leonard Cooper, formerly of Whangamomona, of his rights, powers, and privileges under an Order in Council dated the sixteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 91 of the seventeenth day of the same month, authorizing him to lay, construct, put up, place, and use certain electric lines in the Township of Whangamomona.

Changing the Purpose of Part of a Reserve in Mueller Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of February, 1938.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council declaring that the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be changed from a reserve for public recreation purposes to a reserve for aerodrome purposes was published in the Gazette of the eighth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven :
And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before both Houses of Parliament in accordance with the provisions of subsection two of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 :
And whereas the Legislative Council and the House of Representatives, by resolutions dated respectively the eighth and the tenth days of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, approved the proposed change of purpose as aforesaid :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby change the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for public recreation purposes to a reserve for aerodrome purposes.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods 3 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve 2652, Block XVIII, Mueller Survey District, bounded towards the north-west by the Pukaki-Hermitage Road, 1263·5 links, towards the east by other part of Reserve 2652, 204·1 links and 1756·9 links, and also towards the south-west by other part of Reserve 2652, 210·0 links and 978·8 links.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 15 acres 0 roods 27 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve 2652, Blocks XIV and XVIII, Mueller Survey District, bounded towards the west by other part of Reserve 2652, 3341·9 links, and also towards the north-east by other part of Reserve 2652, 192·3 links and 2600·8 links, and towards the south-east by the Tasman River and lines 126·6 links and 483·6 links, and towards the north-west by other part of Reserve 2652.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/11/70B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Mueller Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for aerodrome purposes :
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes.
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of that portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for aerodrome purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 9 acres 2 roods 35 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve 2652, Block XIV, Mueller Survey District, bounded towards the west by the Pukaki-Hermitage Road, 849·6 links, towards the north and east by other part of Reserve 2652, 1121·9 links and 1133 links respectively, and also towards the south by other part of Reserve 2652, 519·3 links and 600·9 links.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve 2652, Block XVIII, Mueller Survey District, bounded towards the north by other part of Reserve 2652, 591·6 links and 1131·1 links, towards the south-east by the Tasman River, and also towards the west by other part of Reserve 2652, 600 links and 1291·4 links. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/11/70A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

The Green Island Borough Council
to be the Green Island Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, at eight p.m., as the time when, and the Council Chambers, Main South Road, Green Island, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
