RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Lyndhurst Reserve Loan, 1937—£1,200.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the following resolution was passed by the Rangiora Borough Council at a meeting held on 26th January, 1938:—
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,200 authorized to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, for the purpose of building a house on the Council's Reserve at Lyndhurst, the said Rangiora Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼ of a penny upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Rangiora and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and payable half-yearly on the 1st day of October and the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, for a period of twenty years, or until the loan is duly paid off."

WORLD'S UNIVERSAL CODE COMPANY, LIMITED.
CREDITORS VOLUNTARY WINDING UP.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of the World's Universal Code Company, Limited.
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the World's Universal Code Company, Limited, will be held on Monday, the 28th day of February, 1938, at 11.15 o'clock in the forenoon, at which a resolution for voluntary winding up is to be proposed and that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at the registered office of the company, 713 New Zealand Insurance Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, on Monday, the 28th day of February, 1938, at 11.30 o'clock in the forenoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company's affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

WAikato COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000 authorized to be raised by the Waikato County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing its proportion of the increased cost of constructing a reinforced-concrete bridge (together with approaches thereto) over the Waikato River, near Hamilton, known as the Fairfield Bridge, the said Waikato County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one one-hundred-and twentieth of a penny (1/120d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Waikato, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 17th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
