Cancelling the Reservation over Part of a Reserve in Waiho Survey District, Westland Land District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of February, 1938.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a commonage and resting place for travelling stock over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing 26 acres 2 roods 33 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve No. 339, situated in Block XI, Waiho Survey District, bounded as follows:—
Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Reserve No. 339, Block XI, Waiho Survey District, thence running 279° for 3457·9 links, 53° 39′ 30″ for 2511·3 links, 143° 00′ 30″ for 400 links, 53° 30′ 30″ for 250 links, and 143° 00′ 30″ for 1650·1 links to the point of commencement.
As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/283A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Revoking the Reservation as a Site for a Public Hospital over a Reserve in the Town of Rangataua, Wellington Land District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of February, 1938.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council declaring that the reservation as a site for a public hospital over the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be cancelled was published in the Gazette of the thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven:
And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before both Houses of Parliament in accordance with the provisions of subsection two of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928:
And whereas the Legislative Council and the House of Representatives, by resolutions dated respectively the eighth and the tenth days of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, approved the proposed revocation as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation as a site for a public hospital over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

Thomas Henry James,
Henry May,
George Thorngate Weston,
Gordon Tate Lucas, and

to be the Leithfield Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Leithfield Hall, Leithfield, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
