THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Acts aforesaid, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a site for a public school (Otonga).
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 9 acres 0 roods 10 perches, more or less, being Sections 42, 44, and part 14 of Block XII, Hukerenui Survey District: Bounded commencing at the southernmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 21823; towards the north-west by Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 21823, bearing 64° 40′, distance 1952·9 links; towards the south-east and south-west generally by a public road, bearing 195° 01′, distance 375·2 links; bearing 234° 21′, distance 179·0 links; bearing 209° 04′, distance 441·2 links; bearing 233° 00′, distance 507·8 links; bearing 247° 13′, distance 483·7 links; bearing 296° 47′, distance 152·9 links; bearing 4° 59′, distance 339·0 links; bearing 282° 52′, distance 298·3 links; bearing 301° 38′, distance 68·3 links to the point of commencement: Be all the aforesaid measurements a little more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 20/850p, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan 28919.)

Lands permanently reserved.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
And whereas by the three-hundred-and-sixtieth section of the said Act it is provided that land temporarily reserved under the said three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section may, at the expiration of one month but not later than six months after the publication in the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation, be permanently reserved, and that notice of such permanent reservation shall be published in the Gazette:
And whereas by the seventy-first section of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, it is further provided that the Governor-General may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside reserves for any specified public purpose out of lands acquired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments:
And whereas the lands specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto were, by the Warrant, the date of which is specified in the third column of the said Schedule, and the notification of which was published in the Gazette specified in the fourth column, temporarily reserved under the authority of the said Acts for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Acts, do hereby permanently reserve the lands so temporarily reserved as aforesaid, and enumerated in the first column of the Schedule hereto, for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule, being the same purposes for which the said lands were so temporarily reserved as aforesaid.
