Portion of a Road in the County of Waitaki, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of December, 1937.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Waitaki County Council on the twenty-third day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, viz.:

“ The Waitaki County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads within the County, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the eastern side of the road abutting on the western boundary of Allotments 3 and 4 on plan of subdivision of part of Section 2 of 30, and 167R, Block IV, Oamaru Survey District, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Dunedin as No. 1083, Allotment 3 and part 4, being owned by the Executors of the late Harry Winsley, Waiareka, retired builder, and the balance of Allotment 4 being owned by Robert Alexander Winsley of Waiareka, builder ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side of the portion of road (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE.

THE eastern side of all that portion of road, situated in the Otago Land District, County of Waitaki, fronting Allotments 3 and 4, D.P. 1083, Block IV, Oamaru Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97871, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Cancelling the Reservation over Portion of a Cemetery, and vesting it in the Borough of Whangarei as a Site for a Public Abattoir.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of December, 1937.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section two of the Whangarei Abattoir-site Extension Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a public cemetery over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare the said land to be vested in the corporation of the Borough of Whangarei as a site for a public abattoir for the said Borough.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 8, Block XVI, Purua Survey District: Area, 25 acres 0 roods 15·6 perches, more or less, being all the land described in the Second Schedule to the Whangarei Abattoir-site Extension Act, 1928.

Crown Land set apart for the Purpose of promoting the Systematic Recovery of Kauri-gum and other Valuable Products contained therein.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of December, 1937.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Kauri-gum Industry Amendment Act, 1915, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto, and situated within the Bay of Islands County Kauri-gum District, for the purpose of promoting the systematic recovery of kauri-gum and other valuable products contained therein.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Bay of Islands County containing by admeasurement 9 acres 2 roods 10 perches, more or less, being part Section 5, Block II, Kerikeri Survey District: Bounded commencing at a point bearing 23° and distant 2041·6 links from the south-western corner of Section 6, Block III, Kerikeri Survey District; thence by right lines bearing 341° 30′, distance 1000 links; bearing 268° 30′, distance 1000 links; bearing 161° 30′, distance 1000 links, and bearing 88° 30′, distance 1000 links to the point of commencement, be all the aforesaid admeasurements a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 9/3196A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Recreation Reserve in Marlborough Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of December, 1937.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Marlborough Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Havelock Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Havelock Domain Board.
