WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
——

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“ That, for the purpose of providing interest and sinking fund charges on a loan of £6,300 authorized to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of acquisition and erection of plant and machinery, provision of road access, and development of the Waitakere Quarry, being parts 9 and 9c, Parish of Waitakere, and parts 9A, 9B, and 4, part Allotment 9 and 9c, Parish of Waitakere; and in respect of the Waitakere Quarry Loan, 1937, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3/64ths of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Titirangi, Waikumete, Waipareira, Waitakere, Kumeu, Mairetahi, and Kaukapakapa Ridings in the County of Waitemata, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of September, and the 30th day of March, in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a minute passed at a meeting of the Waitemata County Council held on Friday, the 19th day of November, 1937.
