Notice that Land is Vested in the Public Trustee pursuant to Part II of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908.

WHEREAS by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 8th day of April, 1937, and in the Press on the 22nd day of April, 1937, the 30th day of April, 1937, and the 8th day of May, 1937, the Public Trustee did call upon the owner of that parcel of land containing two roods, more or less, situated in the Land District of Canterbury and Dominion of New Zealand, being Lots 26 and 27 on Deposited Plan No. 275 (Canterbury Registry) Part R.S. 3354, Christchurch District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 48, folio 65 (Canterbury Registry), the registered proprietor of which is ALEXANDER FROST DOUGLAS, of Wellington, Clerk, within six months of the date of publication of the said notice in the New Zealand Gazette to establish his title to the said land to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee, and stated in such notice that if the said owner did not do so the Public Trustee would exercise with regard to the said land the powers and authorities granted to the Public Trustee in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments : And whereas the owner of the said land has not established his title thereto : And whereas the value of the said land is less than £500 : Now the Public Trustee gives notice pursuant to the provisions of section 67 (d) of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, as amended by the provisions of section 38 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–23, that the said land is vested in the Public Trustee and will be administered under the provisions of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.
