Lands permanently reserved.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
And whereas by the three-hundred-and-sixtieth section of the said Act it is provided that land temporarily reserved under the said three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section may, at the expiration of one month but not later than six months after the publication in the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation, be permanently reserved, and that notice of such permanent reservation shall be published in the Gazette:
And whereas the lands specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto were, by the Warrant, the date of which is specified in the third column of the said Schedule, and the notification of which was published in the Gazette specified in the fourth column, temporarily reserved under the authority of the said Act for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby permanently reserve the lands so temporarily reserved as aforesaid, and enumerated in the first column of the Schedule hereto, for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule, being the same purposes for which the said lands were so temporarily reserved as aforesaid.

Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Riwaka Scenic Board.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act), in trust for the purposes of scenery preservation, as from the date of this notice until the nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine (unless previously altered or revoked under the said Act) in the Riwaka Scenic Board, as constituted by notification dated the twentieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, and published in Gazette of the twenty-sixth day of that month.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 26 (formerly part Section 20), Block VII, Kaiteriteri Survey District: Area, 110 acres 1 rood 25 perches, more or less.

Vesting the Control of Scenic Reserves in the Pelorus Bridge Scenic Board.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act) for the period of five years from the date hereof (unless previously altered or revoked under the said Act), in the undermentioned persons, namely,—
The Commissioner of Crown Lands, Blenheim, ex officio,
The Mayor of Blenheim, ex officio,
The Mayor of Nelson, ex officio,
The Chairman, Marlborough County Council, ex officio,
The Chairman, Waimea County Council, ex officio,
The President, Marlborough Automobile Association, ex officio,
The President, Nelson Automobile Association, ex officio,
Mark Walton Grace,
Charles William Jeffries Bryant, and
Alfred de Tracy Gould,
who are hereby constituted for that purpose a special Board by the name of the Pelorus Bridge Scenic Board (herein referred to as “the Board”), in trust, for the preservation of scenery, and with the powers and subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say,—
