Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Waira Block, North Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 6 acres 2 roods 33 perches. Being portion of Waira Block.
Situated in Blocks II and IV, Kopuru Survey District. (S.O. plan 12977.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2447, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2800, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of November, 1937.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of sections four hundred and seventy-eight and four hundred and seventy-nine of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the said Act:

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of November, 1937.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
RESERVE No. 1204 (formerly part Section 2258 and Crown land), Block I, Poerua Survey District: Area, 191 acres 2 roods 36 perches, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/681A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of November, 1937.

Authorizing Manurewa Town Board to fix Water Charges according to Quantity used.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of November, 1937.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eighty-five of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby consent to the Manurewa Town Board making and levying water rates and charges in respect both of the ordinary as well as of any extraordinary supply, according to the quantity of water consumed by any person receiving the same as measured by meter, at such rates or charges as may from time to time be fixed by any by-law of the Board in that behalf, or as may be agreed on with any such person.
