Notice of Intention to take Land in Block XI, Rotorua Survey District, for the Purposes of a Road.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Ngongotaha and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97345, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Plant declared to be a Noxious Weed in the Pohangina County.—(Notice No. Ag. 3513.)

THE following special order made by the Pohangina County Council on the 11th day of August, 1937, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928.

SPECIAL ORDER.
In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, the Pohangina County Council hereby declares and resolves by way of special order that Goat’s rue (Galega Officinalis) being a plant mentioned in the Second Schedule to the said Act, is a noxious weed within the County of Pohangina.
Excluding Land from the Kaipara Development Scheme.
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby varies the notice dated the 9th day of June, 1930, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 45 of the 19th day of June, 1930, at pages 1983 and 1984, declaring Aoroa, Lot 4D and other blocks to be subject to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936), by excluding therefrom the Native land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of Native land in the Tokerau Native Land Court District, situate in Blocks I and II, Okaka Survey District, and known as Pouto 2E 6A Block, containing 224 acres 0 roods 30 perches, more or less.
