Additional Land at Lumsden taken for the Purposes of the Invercargill-Kingston Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Invercargill-
Kingston Railway to take further land at Lumsden in addition
to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said
railway:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works
Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 rood.
Being Section 3, Block XVII, Town of Lumsden, Town
District of Lumsden.
In the Southland Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4916,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of
October, 1937.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Public School in Block XIV,
Ngamatea Survey District, Wanganui County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a public school
and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of
Wanganui as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-seven.

particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96891,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of
October, 1937.
