Portion of Paratai Drive, in the City of Auckland, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of October, 1937.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, viz.:

“The Auckland City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Paratai Drive, Orakei, fronting Lots 81 and 82, Town of Orakei, comprised in C/Ts. 678/216, 217 ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of the portion of Paratai Drive (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

The northern side of all that portion of street situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as Paratai Drive, fronting Lots 81 and 82, Town of Orakei. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97912, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Portions of Cornhill and Carlyle Streets in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of October, 1937.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, viz.:

“(a) The north-eastern side of portion of Carlyle Street abutting on Allotments 43 and 44, Deeds Plan 24, Township of Ferguslie ; and

“(b) The south-western side of portion of Cornhill Street abutting on Allotments 23 and 24 and part Allotment 25, Deeds Plan 24, Township of Ferguslie ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the portions of Cornhill or Carlyle Streets (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of twenty-five feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.

SCHEDULE.

The south-western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Cornhill Street, fronting Allotments 23 and 24 and part Allotment 25, Deeds Plan 24, Township of Ferguslie.

Also the north-eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the said land district and city, known as Carlyle Street, fronting Allotments 43 and 44, Deeds Plan 24, Township of Ferguslie.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97181, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Portions of Roads in the County of Tuapeka exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of October, 1937.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Tuapeka County Council on the tenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, viz.:

“The Tuapeka County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Tuapeka, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the roads adjoining Sections 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 23, 24, 25, 32, 33, 37, 38, 39, and passing through Section 31, Block I, Crootston Survey District ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the portions of roads (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of roads.

SCHEDULE.

All those portions of roads situated in the Otago Land District, County of Tuapeka, adjoining or passing through Sections 16, 21, 24, and 32, Sections 3, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 21, 23, 24, 33, 37, and 38, Sections 23, 25, and 38, and Sections 4, 7, 8, 9, and 31, Block I, Crootston Survey District. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97213, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue and marked A–B, C–D, E–F, and G–H.
