Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten and by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the corporation of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed to a reserve for public buildings of the General Government.

SECTION 5, Block XXV, Town of Oamaru: Area, 1 rood, more or less, being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 49, folio 182, Otago Register.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of October, 1937.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, on the recommendation of the Land Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which the Order relates shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924:

And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land District has duly passed resolutions recommending that the portion of the Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve, as described in the Schedule hereto, be excepted from the operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the portion of the Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve as described in the Schedule hereto shall, from the fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of October, 1937.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold:—
3 acres 3·4 perches.
Being part Te Awahohonu A 3 No. 5 Block.

Situated in Block IX, Waitohu Survey District (S.O. 1882).

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59794, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.

Extending time preventing Persons from applying for Receiver, &c., for Thames Harbour Board Loans.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of October, 1937.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section ten of the Thames Harbour Board Loans Adjustment Act, 1932–33, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby further extend until the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, the time within which no person shall take any steps to enforce payment of the principal or interest of any of the loans referred to in the said section ten or any part of any such loans.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Parnell Road, in the City of Auckland, of a Width less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of October, 1937.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Auckland City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said street within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE.

THAT proposed street, in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 22 perches, more or less, being portion of Allotments 9 and 13, Section 4, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96693, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
