WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing 74 acres, more or less, being part of Reserve No. 913, situated in Block XI, Kaniere Survey District, bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the southern side of Kaniere Lake Road, being the most northern corner of Section No. 1778, Block XI, Kaniere Survey District; thence running 229° 15′ for 3000 links; thence 319° 15′ for 2930 links; thence 49° 15′ for 2420·5 links to the Kaniere Lake Road; thence 131° 28′ for 1045·9 links to Reserve No. 841; thence along the north-western, the south-western, and the south-eastern boundaries of the said Reserve No. 841 for 221° 28′ for 150 links, 131° 28′ for 173·8 links, and 41° 28′ for 64·8 links, respectively, to the aforesaid Kaniere Lake Road; thence along the Kaniere Lake Road 173° 53′ for 285·3 links; thence 116° 08′ for 587·1 links; thence 100° 59′ for 571·1 links; and thence 128° 33′ for 472·9 links, to the point of commencement; save and except the streams running through the above area. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/176A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Town of Kihikihi, Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of October, 1937.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for a redoubt-site:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a school-site:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a redoubt-site to a reserve for a school-site.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 38 perches, more or less, being Allotment 405 (formerly part Allotment 168), Town of Kihikihi. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/580B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Consenting to Additional Land being taken for Housing Purposes in the City of Palmerston North.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the additional land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for housing purposes.

Consenting to the Raising of £46,000 of the Takapuna Borough Council’s Sewerage Loan, 1925, of £119,000, and prescribing the Conditions thereof.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of October, 1937.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by order in Council made on the sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, consent was given to the raising by the Takapuna Borough Council (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) of the sum of one hundred and nineteen thousand pounds (£119,000) (hereinafter called “the said loan”), of which the sum of forty-six thousand pounds (£46,000) has not yet been borrowed:
And whereas by section nine of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Amendment Act, 1934, the authority conferred by the said Order in Council was revoked in so far as it has not been exercised, and it is not now lawful or competent for the said local authority to borrow any moneys to which the said Order in Council relates except in accordance with the provisions of an Order in Council that may be made under section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926:
And whereas it is expedient to authorize the said local authority to borrow on the conditions hereinafter mentioned the sum of forty-six thousand pounds (£46,000) (hereinafter called “the said sum”) being portion of the moneys to which the said consent relates:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and by section nine of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Amendment Act, 1934, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising in New Zealand by the said local authority of the said sum up to the amount of forty-six thousand pounds (£46,000) for the purpose for which the said loan was authorized, and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows:—
(1) The term for which the said sum or any part thereof may be raised shall not exceed thirty (30) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said sum or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3 10s.) per centum per annum.
(3) The said sum or any part thereof together with interest thereon shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments extending over the term as determined in (1) above.
(4) The payment of such instalments shall be made in New Zealand, and no such instalment shall be paid out of loan-moneys.
(5) The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and procuration fees in respect of the raising of the said sum or any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per centum of any amount raised.
(6) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.
