IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that by resolution signed by all
the shareholders of the above company, it was resolved
that the company go into voluntary liquidation, and that
DAVID THOMPSON BARNETT, of Wellington, Public Accountant,
be appointed Liquidator.
Notice to Creditors to Prove.
The liquidator of Guy Laurance, Limited, which is being
wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 31st October,
1937, as the day on or before which the creditors of the
company are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish
any title they may have to priority under Section 258 of the
Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution
made before such debts are proved, or as the case may be,
from objecting to such distribution.

CHANGE OF NAME.
NOTICE is hereby given that I, MAURICE ROBERT JEFFREY
THOMPSON, of Melbourne, in the State of Victoria, in
the Commonwealth of Australia, have changed my name to
MAURICE ROBERT JEFFREY REYNOLDS-THOMPSON, and that
from and after this date I will be known as Maurice Robert
Jeffrey Reynolds-Thompson.

BOROUGH OF TAURANGA.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
THAT in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested
in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act,
1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling,
the Tauranga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest in respect
of the Tauranga Borough Aerodrome Loan, £3,500/1936,
authorized to be raised by the Tauranga Borough Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of constructing and making an aerodrome at Whareroa in the
County of Tauranga, and acquiring all necessary land, material,
and plant for same and doing all things necessary to complete
the scheme, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of nine sixty-fourths of a penny in the pound (9/64d.)
on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value)
of all rateable property in the Borough of Tauranga, and that
such special rate shall be an annually-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan and be payable annually on the
1st day of April in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of thirty years (30), or until
the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that McEwen and Elliott, Limited,
has changed its name to Electric Traders, Limited, and
that the new name was this day entered on my Register of
Companies in place of the former name.

Annual Statement.
ROBERT KING, Trust Manager, do solemnly and
sincerely declare:-
- That the liability of the members is limited.
- That the capital of the company is 1,500,000 divided
into 1,500,000 shares of £1 each. - That the number of shares issued is 1,500,000.
- That calls to the amount of £1 per share have been
made, under which the sum of £1,500,000 has been
received. - That the amount of all moneys received on account of
estates is £13,000,928. - That the amount of all moneys paid on account of
estates is £12,984,369 10s. 7d. - That the amount of the balance held to the credit of
estates under administration is £16,558 9s. 5d. - That the liabilities of the company at the close of its
financial year (to wit, the 31st day of May, 1937)

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and
Amendment Act, 1924, and its amendments, the Public
Works Act, 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act,
1933.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council
proposes under the provisions of the above-named
Acts, and all other Acts, powers, and authorities, enabling it
in that behalf, to execute a certain public work—namely, for
street purposes—Wadestown Road, in the City of Wellington,
and for the purpose of such public work the land described in
the Schedule hereto is required to be taken : And notice is
hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be
taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the
said Council, in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the said City,
and is there open for inspection (without fee) by all persons
during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by
the execution of the said public work, or the taking of such
land, should, if they have well-grounded objections to the
execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said
land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing
within forty days from the first publication of this notice to
the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk
at his said office.
SCHEDULE.
All that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington,
containing 23·89 perches, be the same a little more or less,
being part Sections 43 and 44, Wadestown, and part Section
1, Harbour District, coloured red on the plan above-mentioned.
