Notice respecting Proposed Constitution of Borough of Ellerslie.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be constituted as the Borough of Ellerslie:
All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed constitution of such borough which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
AREA PROPOSED TO BE CONSTITUTED AS THE BOROUGH OF ELLERSLIE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the junction of roads opposite the old site of the Harp of Erin Inn, at a point on the line between Standard Survey Blocks, M 753 (Great South Road) and M 752 (Wairakei Street) and distant 113 links from the first-mentioned standard; thence towards the north generally by a right line from that point to the south-western corner of Allotment 25 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, and by Allotments 25, 34, 12A, and 26A, all of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, to Lake Road; thence towards the east generally by Lake Road aforesaid, the crossing of the Ellerslie–Panmure Road to the north-western corner of Allotment 28 of aforesaid Section 12, and by Allotments 28 and 33 of aforesaid Section 12 to the Penrose–Panmure Road; and thence towards the south-west generally by that road and the Great South Road to the point of commencement.

Notice as to the making of By-laws under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Amendment Act, 1933.—(Notice No. Ag. 3504.)
NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Amendment Act, 1933, as amended by section 4 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, of the making by the Flaxbourne Agricultural and Pastoral Association on the 30th day of April, 1937, and of the approval by the Governor-General on the 7th day of September, 1937, of by-laws under the above-entitled Act controlling the admission of persons to any place used or occupied by the said association for any meeting, show, exhibition, competition, or entertainment held by the said association, which said by-laws came into force on the last-mentioned date. The by-laws made by the Feilding Industrial, Agricultural, and Pastoral Association on the 25th day of October, 1935, and published in the Gazette on the 21st day of November, 1935, at page 3383, are substantially the same as the by-laws made by the first-mentioned association.

THE following special order made by the Waikohu County Council on the 31st day of August, 1937, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928.

SPECIAL ORDER.
In exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, the Waikohu County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of special order that the plant known as barberry (Berberis vulgaris), being a plant mentioned in the Second Schedule of the said Act, is a noxious weed within the County of Waikohu.
Including Additional Land in the Mangonui Development Scheme.
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the Native-owned land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act and to be included in the Mangonui Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of Native-owned land in the Tokerau Native Land Court District, situate in Block II, Kaeo Survey District, and known as Mangaiti No. 1A No. 1 Block, containing 12 acres, more or less, and being all the land in Certificate of Title, Vol. 244, folio 16.
