UPPER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Streets Improvements Loan No. 1, £6,000, 1937.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Upper Hutt Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:-
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £6,000 authorized to be raised by the Upper Hutt Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of kerbing and channelling streets, the said Upper Hutt Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of forty-two hundredths of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable properties within the Borough of Upper Hutt, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed by the Upper Hutt Borough Council at a special meeting held on Saturday, the 28th day of August, 1937.
