NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of the Regulations Act, 1936, of the making of the above-entitled regulations under the above-entitled Act.
Serial number: 221/1937.
Date of enactment: 2nd day of September, 1937.
Copies can be purchased at the Government Printing and Stationery Office, Lambton Quay, Wellington. Price for cash with order 6d., plus postage 1d. extra. Prices for quantities supplied on application. Copies may be ordered by quoting above serial number.

Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod appointed.

His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Captain Douglas Isaac Charles Bryan to be Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, vice Arthur Thomas Bothamley, Esquire, I.S.O., resigned. The appointment to have effect as on and from the 7th day of September, 1937.

Inspector of Sea-fishing appointed.
Marine Department, Wellington, 18th August, 1937.
IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed John Richard Corston, of Rawene, to be an Inspector of Sea-fishing for the purposes of Part I of the first-mentioned Act.

THE CANTERBURY YEOMANRY CAVALRY.
Lieutenant I. A. Scott is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 10. Dated 24th August, 1937.

QUEEN ALEXANDRA'S (WELLINGTON WEST COAST) MOUNTED RIFLES.
Lieutenant R. S. Hosking to be Captain. Dated 27th April, 1937.

THE WELLINGTON EAST COAST MOUNTED RIFLES.
Captain W. H. Ebbitt, M.C., E.D., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 7. Dated 2nd August, 1937.

THE NELSON-MARLBOROUGH MOUNTED RIFLES.
Captain C. St. G. M. C. Parsons to be Major. Dated 15th August, 1937.

REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY.
Major J. Dash ceases to be attached to The Taranaki Regiment and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 8. Dated 23rd August, 1937.
Captain A. T. Rawle ceases to be posted to the 20th Light Battery and is posted to the 18th Anti-aircraft Battery. Dated 3rd August, 1937.
Lieutenant A. E. Lambourn, 17th Medium Battery, to be Captain. Dated 31st May, 1937.
Bryan Lansdowne Burns to be 2nd Lieutenant and is posted to the 12th Field Battery. Dated 7th July, 1937.
2nd Lieutenant B. A. Abbott ceases to be posted to the 3rd Field Battery and is posted to the 16th Light Battery. Dated 24th August, 1937.

CORPS OF N.Z. ENGINEERS.
2nd Lieutenant W. R. McComb, 1st Field Company, resigns his commission on appointment to a commission in the Royal Air Force. Dated 22nd August, 1937.

THE NORTH AUCKLAND REGIMENT.
Major and Quartermaster M. R. Downey, E.D., 1st Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 10. Dated 3rd August, 1937.

THE WAIKATO REGIMENT.
Lieutenant G. G. Brough, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 3. Dated 13th August, 1937.

THE WELLINGTON REGIMENT.
Lieutenant W. H. Roberts, from the Reserve of Officers, to be Lieutenant with seniority from 29th August, 1933, and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 23rd July, 1937.
Lieutenant M. C. Fairbrother, from The Hawke's Bay Regiment, to be Lieutenant, and is posted to the 1st Battalion, with seniority from 19th September, 1931, next below Lieutenant A. H. Maciver. Dated 23rd August, 1937.
2nd Lieutenant J. B. Andrews, from The Canterbury Regiment, to be 2nd Lieutenant with seniority from 16th October, 1934, and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 5th August, 1937.
