[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the estate of leasehold in the land described in the Schedule hereto held by Henry Charles Drury Van Asch, of Christchurch, Solicitor, under and by virtue of memoranda of lease registered in the Land Registry Office at Wellington, as Nos. 16073, 16074, 16075, and 16076, is hereby taken for the purposes of a public school subject to the estate or interest created by memorandum of lease registered in the said Land Registry Office as No. 16142; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of August, 1937.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Gravel-pit in Block VI, Hautapu Survey District, Rangitikei County.

A PROCLAMATION.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a gravel-pit, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rangitikei as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Lake Coleridge Scheme, Smith's Road Substation-site); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

Being part Lot 1, D.P. 3212, and being part Rural Section 233.
