of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Hamilton Borough Council on the
eighteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-six, viz. :—
“The Hamilton Borough Council, the local authority
having the control of the street forming the north-eastern
boundary of Allotment Number three hundred and seventy-
nine of the Town of Hamilton West, hereby declares that the
provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the
Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the said street
so far as it forms the boundary of the said land ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-
western side of the portion of Hamilton Parade (described in
the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet
from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE south-western side of all that portion of street, situated
in the Auckland Land District, Borough of Hamilton, known
as Hamilton Parade, fronting Allotment 379, Town of
Hamilton West. As the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked P.W.D. 94573, deposited in the office
of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.

The South-western Side of Portion of Duckworth Street, in the
City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128
of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to
the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of
January, 1937.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the twelfth
day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-
six, viz. :—
“That the Dunedin City Council, being the local autho-
rity having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin,
by resolution declares that the provisions of section one
hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928,
shall not apply to the south-western side of portion of
Duckworth Street abutting on part Lot 10, Extension of
Oaklands Estate ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-
western side of the portion of Duckworth Street (described
in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet
from the centre line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE south-western side of all that portion of street, situated
in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Duck-
worth Street, fronting part Lot 10, Extension of Oaklands
Estate. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 94616, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged
red.

Vesting the Balance of a Reserve in the Waimakariri River Trust.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of
January, 1937.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
W HEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly set apart for river-conservation pur-
poses : And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General,
it is expedient to vest the said land in the Waimakariri River
Trust :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and
after the day of the date hereof, the balance of the reserve
described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the
Waimakariri River Trust in trust for river-conservation
purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing
by admeasurement 3,680 acres, more or less, and being part
of Reserve No. 3542, situated in Blocks IV, VII, and VIII,
Rolleston Survey District, and Blocks I, II, V, and VI,
Christchurch Survey District, and being all Reserve No. 3542
as particularly described in the Warrant dated the seventh
day of December, one thousand nine hundred and one
(Gazette, 1902, page 8); save and except thereout all that
portion of the said reserve as particularly described in the
Order in Council dated the twenty-ninth day of November,
one thousand nine hundred and two (Gazette, 1902, page 2648).
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 6/1/36B, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

P URSUANT to the Health Act, 1920, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby make the
following regulations.
REGULATIONS.

THESE regulations may be cited as the Hairdressers
(Health) Regulations Extension, 1936 (No. 3). -
These regulations shall be read together with and form
part of the Hairdressers (Health) Regulations, 1931 (herein-
after called “ the principal regulations ”). -
The principal regulations shall be in force in the borough
of Ohakune as from the 31st day of January, 1937.

W HEREAS the Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain is subject
to the provisions of the Tourist and Health Resorts
Control Act, 1908, and it is expedient to make by-laws for the
management and control of such reserve :
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said Act and of all other
powers and authorities in that behalf enabling him, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke
the by-laws made on the twelfth day of April, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-one, and amendments thereto made
on the twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-one, for the management and control
of the said reserve, and in lieu thereof doth hereby make the
following by-laws.
