RAETIHI BOROUGH COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other Act and power thereunto enabling, to take the land firstly described in the schedule hereto for the purpose of a street, and to take the land secondly described in the schedule hereto in connection with street-widening: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Raetihi Borough Council at Raetihi, and is there open for inspection, and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objection to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Mayor of the Borough of Raetihi at Raetihi.

SCHEDULE.

First, approximate area of piece of land required to be taken: 20 perches, being portion of Lot 2, Deposited Plan 4313, and being part Section 1, Block VI, Raetihi Township Extension No. 1, situate in the Makotuku Survey District, in the Wellington Land District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan dated the 17th day of June, 1937, and numbered 3271, deposited in the office of the Raetihi Borough Council at Raetihi, and thereon coloured red.

Secondly, approximate area of land required to be taken in connection with street-widening: 20 perches, being portion of Lot 2, Deposited Plan 4313, and being part Section 1, Block VI, Raetihi Township Extension No. 1, situate in Makotuku Survey District, in the Wellington Land District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan dated the 17th day of June, 1937, and numbered 3271, deposited in the office of the Raetihi Borough Council at Raetihi, and thereon coloured purple.

IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, a general meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at 152 Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Thursday, the 23rd day of September, 1937, at 12 o'clock noon, for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND SITUATED IN PITT STREET, AUCKLAND, FOR THE PURPOSES OF A SITE FOR A FIRE-BRIGADE STATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the schedule hereto for the purposes of a site for a fire-brigade station: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Auckland Metropolitan Fire Board, Endeans’s Buildings, 56-58 Quay Street, Auckland, and is there open for inspection, and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Auckland Metropolitan Fire Board at the above address.

SCHEDULE.

Area: Thirty-six decimal sixty-five perches (36-65), comprising parts of Allotments Thirty-six and Thirty-seven (36 and 37) of Section Twenty-nine (29) of the City of Auckland, situated in the Auckland Land District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan deposited with the Secretary of the Auckland Metropolitan Fire Board at the above address and thereon coloured pink.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE partnership between ANDREW GEORGE HEDLEY and WILLIAM HEDLEY, trading as “Hedley and Hedley,” of Wairoa, Builders, is dissolved as from 1st February, 1937. The business will be carried on by William Hedley in his own name, and he takes over the assets and assumes sole liability for the debts of the partnership.

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato County Council proposes to execute certain public works—to wit, the formation of roads—for which purpose the following lands require to be taken under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, sections 22 and 23 (that is to say):

  1. All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland containing by admeasurement five perches (more or less), being part of Lot One on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under Number 12311, being portion of Allotment Number One hundred and eighty of the Parish of Kirikiriroa, and being part of the land included in Volume 283, folio 223, of the Register-book at Auckland.

  2. All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland containing by admeasurement five-tenths of a perch (more or less), being part of Lot One on a plan deposited as aforesaid under Number 12311, being portion of the said Allotment Number One hundred and eighty of the Parish of Kirikiriroa, and being part of the land included in Volume 283, folio 223, of the Register-book at Auckland.

  3. All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland containing by admeasurement two perches (more or less), being part of Lot Ten on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under Number 11935, being portion of Allotment Number One hundred and sixty-eight of the Parish of Kirikiriroa, and being part of the land included in Volume 276, folio 202, of the Register-book at Auckland.

  4. All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland containing by admeasurement thirty and two-tenths perches (more or less), being part of Lot One on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under Number 12631, being part of Allotment Number One hundred and eighty-two of the Parish of Kirikiriroa, and being part of the land included in Volume 316, folio 172, of the Register-book at Auckland.

  5. All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland containing by admeasurement four and nineteen-tenths perches (more or less), being part of Lot Eighteen on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under Number 4296, being portion of Allotment Number One hundred and sixty-six of the Parish of Kirikiriroa, and being part of the land included in Volume 176, folio 216, of the Register-book at Auckland.

  6. All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland containing by admeasurement two and two-tenths perches (more or less), being part of Lot Nine on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under Number 8603, being portions of Allotments Numbers One hundred and forty-five and One hundred and forty-six of the Parish of Kirikiriroa, and being part of the land included in Volume 319, folio 294, of the Register-book at Auckland.

  7. All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland containing by admeasurement nineteen perches (more or less), being part of Lot Eight on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under Number 8603, being part of Allotment Number One hundred and forty-four of the Parish of Kirikiriroa, and being part of the land included in Volume 314, folio 166, of the Register-book at Auckland.

  8. All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland containing by admeasurement one rood eighteen perches (more or less), being part of Lot Four on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under Number 15895, being part of Allotment Number One hundred and fifty-two of the Parish of Kirikiriroa, and being part of the land included in Volume 670, folio 174, of the Register-book at Auckland.

A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection to the public at the office of the Waikato County Council, Grey Street, Hamilton East. All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands and to send such writing to the Waikato County Council within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice.
