Revoking the Exemption from Warehouse Duty granted in
respect of Guinness Brothers’ Warehouses at Tauranga.—

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of
August, 1937.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by section eighty of the Customs Act,
1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him
in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
doth hereby withdraw the exemption granted by Order in
Council dated the twenty-fifth day of April, one thousand
nine hundred and eight, and published in the Gazette on the
seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eight,
at page 1302, exempting the warehouse owned by Guinness
Brothers, and situated at Tauranga, from the payment of
annual warehouse duty, and doth hereby declare that such
withdrawal shall take effect on the fifth day of January,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

Appointment of Officer for the Purposes of the Sale of Food
and Drugs Act, 1908.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on me by section two of the Sale of Food
and Drugs Act, 1908, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Thomas Suddaby Morton
to be an officer for the purposes of the Sale of Food and Drugs
Act, 1908.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 18th day of August, 1937.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Auckland Land District.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth
section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that
the Governor-General may from time to time set apart
temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same
may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes
in the said section mentioned:—
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities con-
ferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily
reserve the lands in the Auckland Land District described
in the Schedule hereunder written for the purposes specified
at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so
intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 7, Block III, Taumarunui Native Township: Area,
1 rood 8 perches, more or less. (Municipal.)
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 4 acres
2 roods 11-01 perches, more or less, being part Section 1 on plan
26537 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar
at Auckland (Certificate of Title, Vol. 261, folio 91, Auckland
Registry), and Section 9, Block XIV, Onewhero Survey
District; Bounded towards the west and north-west by
part Section 1, Block XIV, Onewhero Survey District, 636-2
and 740-1 links respectively; towards the east by Section 5,
Block XIV aforesaid, 705-1 links; and towards the south
generally by a public road, 98-9, 374-1, and 280-1 links; be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L and S. 6/1/560B,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland
plans D.P. 26537 and 14876.) (Resting-place for travelling
stock.)

General, this 18th day of August, 1937.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the
three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the
Peace Act, 1927, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby notify and declare that the persons whose names are
set out in the Schedule hereto, being officers in the service
of the Crown holding the offices stated opposite their names
respectively in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and
receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-
first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.
